How does period underwear work?
The Asan period underwear is made with special multi-layered technology that absorbs menstrual flow while keeping you dry, comfortable and odour-free. It can replace or act as a back-up to pads, tampons, or cups, depending on your flow.
I have very heavy flow. Will I need other products with my underwear?
If you change your pad within 1-2 hours, we recommend changing your underwear every 5-6 hours.
If you have extremely heavy flow, the best solution is to combine the Asan cup with the period underwear for longer leak protection.
Does this underwear contain micro-plastics?
Unlike other brands made from synthetic fabrics, Asan uses OEKO-TEX approved cotton. This ensures that it is free of harmful micro-plastics, making it safe for your body and the planet.
How many pairs do I need?
This depends on how often you want to do laundry! We recommend that 5-7 pairs are enough to comfortably rotate through a cycle.
Is it worth the price?
The Asan period underwear will last you 2 to 3 years if cared for properly - making it a sustainable, cost effective period care solution.
