Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Associate who thrives in the digital space. If you live and breathe social media, this role is for you! You'll be responsible for managing and expanding our online presence across multiple platforms, crafting compelling content, engaging with our audience, and driving brand awareness and community growth.

Flexibility is key—we're a dynamic team, and you'll be involved in a diverse range of tasks beyond social media, from assisting with accounting and packaging stock to helping run community workshops and pop-ups. What you’ll be doing

Content Creation: Strategise and create engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts.

Video Editing: Edit short-form videos using Capcut, InShot or similar tools.

Graphic Design: Create visually appealing designs on Canva for social media posts, ads, and marketing materials.

Creative Writing: Craft compelling captions, blog posts, and website copy that align with Asan’s voice and mission.

Community Engagement: Actively respond to comments and DMs, build relationships with our audience, and engage with brands and influencers to expand Asan’s reach.

Requirements

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Media and Communications, Journalism or relevant discipline from a top institution. 
  • 1–2 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Confident in Canva with a keen eye for design.
  • Basic to intermediate video editing skills (CapCut, Inshot, or similar).
  • Strong creative writing skills.
  • Understanding of social media trends, analytics, and engagement strategies.
  • Multiple languages is a plus.
  • Commitment to our social mission is a must.
