Job Description

As we scale on marketplaces across Amazon in India, the UK, and Europe, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused person to join us as a Marketplace Associate. You'll be responsible for listing health, performance optimisation, pricing, compliance, promotions, and FBA operations. You will also take complete ownership of identifying and listing Asan products in new marketplaces globally. This is a high-ownership role with direct impact on revenue.

The ideal candidate has experience with Amazon Seller Central, understands how marketplace algorithms and catalog systems work, and enjoys solving problems. If you’re someone who notices the smallest details, loves working with data, and wants to directly impact business growth, we’d love to hear from you.

What we need from you

Catalogue Management

  • Set up and manage product listings end-to-end, including parent-child variation structures, attributes, backend keywords, and content.
  • Monitor and resolve listing issues (suppressed listings, missing attributes, variation errors) before they affect sales.
  • Ensure all listings comply with platform guidelines across each marketplace.

Performance Optimisation

  • Continuously improve listing content (titles, bullet points, images, and Amazon A+ Content/Brand Store) to lift visibility and conversion rates.
  • Track key metrics, such as traffic, conversion rate, revenue, and surface actionable insights to the team.

Pricing and Promotions

  • Manage day-to-day pricing across SKUs, balancing competitiveness and margin.
  • Set up and execute coupons, deals, and promotional events, including Prime Day and seasonal sales, ensuring listings and inventory are ready in advance.

Amazon FBA Operations and Compliance

  • Manage FBA returns, refunds, and reimbursements.
  • Audit inventory for lost or damaged units , raise claims, and recover eligible amounts.
  • Keep up with marketplace policies and ensure all listings meet platform guidelines.

Coordination and Support

  • Work with Amazon Seller Support and internal teams (marketing, operations, customer support) to resolve issues quickly.
  • Provide support across operations as needed, including supply chain, product development, and logistics.

Requirements

Amazon expertise: You have hands-on experience working with Amazon Seller Central and understand how to manage listings, troubleshoot issues, and navigate the platform confidently.

Detail-oriented: You notice small errors before they become big problems and take pride in getting things right.

Analytical mindset: You’re comfortable working with data, tracking performance, and making decisions based on insights.

Relevant experience: You have 1–3 years of experience in marketplace management, ecommerce, or a similar role.

Multitasking pro: You can manage multiple SKUs, marketplaces, and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets, bulk upload templates, and ecommerce tools.

Problem solver: You take ownership, think proactively, and find solutions instead of waiting for answers.

People person: You collaborate well with marketing, supply chain, and customer support teams.

Languages: Fluency in English is a must. Kannada is a bonus!

Most importantly, you care deeply about Asan’s mission and want to help us drive real change.

What we can offer you

Purpose-driven work: Join a mission-led startup that’s working to end period poverty and create real impact for women and girls around the world.

Room to lead: You’ll have the freedom to take ownership, make decisions, and drive partnerships from start to finish.

Grow with us: We’re a fast-growing startup, so you’ll get hands-on experience and the chance to build valuable connections across industries.

Supportive team: Work alongside a fun, passionate team that values collaboration, creativity and continuous learning.

Fair pay: We offer a competitive salary, with lots of room to grow based on your performance.

Wellness Benefits: At Asan, we deeply value team wellbeing. That’s why we offer a monthly wellness allowance and opportunities to up-skill.
