Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager

Job description

Asan believes that every woman and girl, no matter her income or background, deserves access to the highest quality period care. Our B2B sales program provides Asan cups at a subsidised cost to strategic partners such as CSRs, corporates, factories and nonprofits. We collaborate with these organisations to deliver menstrual health education and Asan cups for low-income women experiencing period poverty.

Asan is looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to help develop new partnerships and take our impact programs to the next level. In this role, you’ll be expanding our outreach, securing new partners, and nurturing long-term relationships across a variety of industries.

You will work closely with Asan’s Founder and Social Impact team – and play a key part in scaling Asan’s impact globally.

What we need from you 

Lead generation: Identify and pursue new B2B partnerships to help grow Asan’s impact around the world – from companies and factories to CSR teams, NGOs and retail distributors.

Build relationships: Create strong, lasting connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our partners happy and engaged.

Pitching: Craft and deliver compelling pitches that show partners why working with Asan makes a real impact. You’ll also handle negotiations and help close new deals.

Market research: Keep an eye on industry trends so you can shift Asan’s strategy to be relevant to our partners’ needs.

Relentless go-getter: You are results driven and have the ultimate can-do attitude!

Additional requirements 

3+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, partnerships, CSR or corporate environments – you know how to build connections and get deals done.

A people person through and through! You enjoy pitching, negotiating, and building strong relationships.

You’re proactive, independent and thrive in fast-paced environments where each day is different.

Extremely fluent in English. Bonus points if you know any other languages.
